Being as Gundam Wing had a lot of consistency issues with pretty much every technical aspect of MS combat, I figured it'd be wise to chuck some logic at it for the sake of the rpg. I'm not claiming to be any kind of authority, so Cid and any battle writers/players that may exist can feel free to correct my rants and/or add any info I may be unaware of.
*Note that while this info may prove useful to the rpg, it is not to be taken as official to the rpg unless Did seems it so, I am not rpg staff*
Rant 1: What can hurt Gundanium, the short list
This is gonna be a quick list of what non-Gundam weapons can damage Gundanium armor, based primarily on onscreen evidence but in some cases based on association.
Dobergun: Tallgeese/Leo(all variants) kinda the standard by which all else is judged. The only grunt weapon in the show specifically shown to be effective against Gundanium, and thus the baseline for my assumptions about other weapons.
Beam Cannon(Leo): everything about the weapon is pure conjecture, but it has little reason to exist if it isn't at least as powerful as a Dobergun.
Beam Cannon(Taurus): it's never shown damaging a Gundam, but all onscreen evidence implies that this weapon is a powerhouse.
Shoulder Cannon(Tragos): Duo did not seem to like getting hit with these, despite a lack of visible damage onscreen they stumbled Deathscythe and should be more powerful than a Dobergun
Beam Cannon(Olifant): no onscreen evidence due to the Maganacs being allies of the Gundam pilots. Logically it's at least equivalent to the only other artillery suit in the show, the Tragos.
Heat Rod(Capricorn, Scorpio): this weapon should be identical to the one found on Epyon and Tallgeese III.
Beam Saber(Mercurius): basically a prototype for Epyon's high-output saber.
Beam Cannon(Vayate, Virgo/II/III): onscreen evidence, Vayate wrecks an unmanned Deathscythe with it.
Serpent(all weapons): onscreen evidence, everything Serpent has can damage a Gundam.
Didn't make the cut:
Aries(all weapons): poor Aries has two weapons, neither of which match up to the Dobergun's firepower. Also both weapons are shown to be ineffective onscreen several times.
Cancer/Pisces(all weapons): to be fair, fighting Gundams was not even a consideration in these two suits design.
Standard Beam Rifles(Leo, Maganac, Taurus, Tragos, Mercurius): regular mass-produced beam rifles in the AC timeline simply don't seem to have the output needed to damage Gundanium.
Debatable:
Beam Saber(Leo, Tallgeese, Taurus): onscreen evidence, Tallgeese is the only one shown hitting a Gundam with a beam saber, and while it knocked Heavyarms around and gave a wounded Heero a rough time, it did no visible damage. I would argue that mass-produced beam sabers are too low-output to accomplish much. They might be able to damage the armor, but you won't get a clean slice-through like when Tallgeese cuts a Leo in half.
